Warmup is made by 3Peaks. It helps you go through your own contacts, decide who is worth talking to, and leave yourself a short spoken note about each one. This page describes exactly what that involves.
The short version: your contacts and your notes are yours, they are never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train anyone’s models. You can delete all of it at any moment, from inside the app, and deletion is immediate and total.
What Warmup stores
- Your account. The name, email address and profile picture that Google gives us when you sign in.
- Contacts you import. Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and where each contact came from. Depending on the source this may include a LinkedIn profile URL, a job title, a company, and a profile photo.
- Your decisions. Which contacts you marked warm, starred, or cold, and when.
- Your notes. The transcribed text of each voice note (the audio itself is not kept, see below).
Voice notes, and why the audio does not survive
When you record a note, the audio is uploaded to our transcription provider, transcribed, and then deleted from their file store. What remains is the text. The audio is not archived, not backed up, and not used for any purpose other than producing that transcript.
Audio is held only while transcription is in progress, and briefly longer if a transcription fails, so that it can be retried rather than losing something you said. Microphone access is used for nothing else: recording starts and stops with the card in front of you, and never runs in the background.
Contacts, and what we never do with them
With your permission Warmup reads your contacts: from your phone, from your Google account, or from a file you upload. It reads them; it never writes to them. Nothing you do in Warmup modifies, adds to, or removes anything from your address book.
Your contacts are visible only to you. They are not shared with other users, not cross-referenced between accounts, and not used to build any kind of social graph. The people in your contacts are not our users, and we do not contact them.
Who else processes it
Warmup runs on a small number of providers, each doing one job. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Vercel: hosting, and private storage for contact photos.
- Neon: the database where everything above lives.
- Soniox: speech-to-text for your voice notes.
- Google: sign-in, and, if you choose it, reading your Google contacts.
- Bright Data: looking up public professional details for a contact when you ask for enrichment.
What Google gets asked for
Signing in requests read-only access to your Google contacts, alongside your basic profile. Read-only is enforced by Google, not just by us: with that scope the app is technically incapable of altering your contacts. You can revoke it at any time from your Google account permissions.
Warmup’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Deleting everything
In the app: Settings → Delete account. On the web: warmup.3peaks.dev/settings/delete. You will be asked to type a short phrase, because this is not undoable.
Deletion removes your account, every contact, every decision and every note, in a single transaction, along with any stored photos. There is no grace period and no soft-delete tier holding your data out of sight. If something fails partway, nothing is left orphaned.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no ad networks or trackers.
- No selling or renting of personal data, ever.
- No training of machine-learning models on your contacts or notes.
- No third-party analytics following you around the app.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or erase your data. Erasure is self-service and immediate, as above. For anything else, write to it@3peaks.dev and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal basis for processing is performing the service you asked for, and consent for device permissions like contacts and the microphone, which you may withdraw in your device settings at any time.
Children
Warmup is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who processes it, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect rather than quietly editing this page.
